Latest Updates from Our Project:

Factory Update
6 days ago – Mon, Jun 15, 2026 at 11:24:55 AM

The molds for Re-tooled hands are all done (they were initially a little small for our tastes) and the factory has mailed off the final production samples of the first wave to go out with hopefully all notes addressed including test shots for the next wave.  We might be able to produce the next wave at the same time and even ship to catch up some time. Save some money on shipping for everyone too including ourselves. We will have the Final Samples for Chetan, Jagun, Krieger, and Croman as well as the Test shots for Kronen, Ogun, and Croman at Joefest to show off and answer any questions as well.

Joints will be much closer to the body in color already working on better matching. And loincloth and boots will have a dark wash for all characters which are already on the samples sent.

Same for Chetan. UPDATE: We’ve noticed they’re are a little big already. Definitely will be adjusted.

His loincloth and boots are black not brown like above. This is already fixed in the samples being sent. Might darken the wash on him as well. UPDATE: We’ve noticed they’re are a little big already. Definitely will be adjusted.

As soon as we get them in hand and check them over and submit our notes and the factory agrees to all changes we will greenlight production and it really begins! By the time we will be at Joefest that should all be in effect.

Also the last of our male characters The Great Kahn is now being worked on and then we focus on the Females. Thank you all for your patience we really are almost there. Let’s get Brutal!

Ishcon Recap and Uruk Reveal
20 days ago – Sun, May 31, 2026 at 08:41:40 PM

Had a great time at Ishcon meeting fellow creators and more importantly get the first production samples of the first wave in people’s hands. Great feedback, everyone was happy with how smooth the joints felt, the amount of articulation, and how much better the figures looked in person.

Packaging seemed to be a hit as well.

Once again keep in mind those production samples do not have the final wash that will be on the body and the clothing accessories. So hopefully they will look even better when we get the final production samples from the factory and then begin production immediately.

So here is a test of the wash on the body where it more closely matches the body color and also the pelvis painted black for all figures unlike the previous samples. We’re working on getting the knees and elbows to more closely match the body color and be matte which will blend it more seamlessly. We’re just waiting on that update for the final production samples and get them in hand now and we’re in production. We’re almost there guys.

Now let’s reveal Uruk’s full design:

Once again our designer IG @daufuyan absolutely killed this design for Uruk the Sumerian, effortlessly combining our aesthetic with authenticity and functionality.
We hope you’re happy with this design for those that backed Uruk and thinking about getting him.

And finally we made a change to the Kickstarter pledge manager that needs KS’s approval so we’re waiting on that to send out the backers survey. Thank you for your patience as always. Let’s get Brutal!

Small updates
about 1 month ago – Mon, May 18, 2026 at 12:13:32 AM

The biggest news is that the pledge manager is done and submitted for review to Kickstarter for approval. So we’re looking forward to finally sending out the backer survey this week once approved. You’ll be able to change your address, and change your order for equal or greater value.

Factory is steadily working on addressing all notes from the last sample including adding a wash to both the figure and loincloth and boots to give them more depth. We’re looking to add a wash that is slightly darker than the skin color so the picture above is not completely indicative of what the final figure will be. The last sample is so well made, fun to pose, and looks good but we think if we just give it a little more when you all get them they will be even better. Ishcon is coming up soon and we look forward to putting the figures in people’s hands there and getting great feedback.

Everyone seems to be talking about the figures from Mattel which we are fans of as well and are very much looking forward to the movie and couldn’t resist taking photos of our test shot above (taken by Jason) and the pre production samples below (taken by me James). Looks like they scale well for those who like to mix their toylines together.

Lastly, the skirt for Uruk is essentially done and there’s not much left to do before we reveal his full glory. Khan is next after that and then Athena and the Brutal Beauties. Thank you all for your patience! Let’s get Brutal 💪🏽

Minor/Major updates
about 2 months ago – Mon, May 04, 2026 at 06:58:36 AM

The factory is in the middle of Chinese Labour day currently which ends the 6th but we did get some updates for progress on the FEP (Final engineering pilot before full production) screen caps below:

There was misalignment with the left thigh (reversed in the image above) and that was fixed as well as the heads were molded too securely to the ball peg and that seems to have been rectified as well. This is from a video sent. I’ll post it to our Instagram today so you can all see how much more smoothly the heads can be removed. This body is just a demonstration so don’t worry about the gloss or the miscolored knees.

The enlarged hands retool are being worked on, you can see the renders above. Happy with the change.

These are Factory images of the size difference and they will be slightly smaller than these 3d prints as the mold shrinks by 4 percent. Nonetheless you can see the huge difference. We feel that Barbarians should have big Brutish hands and think we finally have the perfect look.

More progress is being made on Uruk the Sumerian as we go into production we will be catching up quick to everything designed so need to get everything else finished as hopefully from a year from production, starting soon, all characters will be tooled at the least. We’re gonna pump them out consistently and keep the factory constantly churning. Lastly, but certainly not least, the full reveal for Killian the Red’s new headsculpt!

The love for Killian the Red has been completely astounding and as we’ve said previously wanted to make him more his own character than sharing a repaint of Kriegers headsculpt so had Jeremy Wilson aka Monster Machine Creations design this super dope rendition full of character. We hope you like the change. Backer kit still being worked on as always but will be out this month. Ishcon is it next convention and we will have the production samples there to play with small possibility the FEP’s so hopefully we will see you there. Let’s get Brutal!

Long Update
2 months ago – Mon, Apr 20, 2026 at 08:12:09 AM

Just a picture of the first EP/production samples hopefully to get you excited but we’ve got some real updates to share:

First off in the transition from hinged joints for the hands to ball joints the sculpt for the hands specifically the fists got shrunken and we have to retool the mold just for the hands. It’s a minor thing but we noticed it and a big cost but it has to be done. Thankfully it will be done while the figures bodies are in production so that won’t push it back any farther.

We’re also including extra hands with the Barbarian Warriors that were only offered with the main characters and bare feet that were only offered with the Barbarian warriors for the characters because that doesn’t make any sense and you all deserve everything we can afford to give.

Also not in any of the renders we’re going to do a wash on all the figures even though they look great even without it with it they’re gonna look incredible. The pictures above are before the matte spray which will give it an even more realistic look. We’re anxiously awaiting photos from the factory of the FEP’s with the wash on them which we will share on the next update hopefully. Thinking of doing a livestream on our IG maybe YouTube as well where we show off the articulation and design of the Production Samples in the first picture but we’re worried people will not realize all the updates yet to be made so we may wait until the Final Samples. What do y’all think?

Last but not least tooling is beginning on the main characters. The sword for Kronen has been redesigned here it is in final pms colors. He’s also getting his smirking head with his angry head instead of the neutral. So disregard the old designs. The bodies are all done for them so the tooling process is less laborious as it is just the heads and accessories so we can can go into production immediately after the Warriors ship. And so on with Mato, Killian the Red (getting a redesigned head by Monster Machine Creations to differentiate from Krieger), and General Grimskull when the previous wave is being shipped etc etc etc. Let’s Get Brutal!
