Brutal Realm Let the Epic begin!

Getting ready for Legionscon and Production

A lot of small but very important updates. We got Paintmasters in from Nico Hodge for Ogun, Kronen, and Croman that we will be showing off at Legionscon and then sending to the factory. Talking slightly posed pictures of them but can’t get too crazy as they are paintmasters. We got rid of the striations on the butt as it was too much, that’s what the grey torso image below shows on the furthest right and also filled in a slight gap between the torso and pelvis. Finalizing female headsculpts to put on the female warrior body, the native headsculpts are shown below. Soon to be done with the Primal Warrior headsculpts currently working on the White Wolf and Panther headsculpts simultaneously. Monkey king with removable crown shown below. We know everyone is still waiting on the Backerkit but we want Athena and the female warriors fleshed out more, as well as hopefully the full representation of the Brutal Beasts for the Primal figures. We hope you understand the wait and are excited for the big updates coming. Let’s Get Brutal!

First convention and Paint masters shown!

Once again Joelanta was an absolute blast for our first convention. Thank you Ken Coleman for the cool posed shots with that incredible 1:6 scale Castle Grayskull! The hurricane unfortunately put a halt on some of our plans to have more paint master figures on display but thankfully we finally got half of them on the last day out on display. They are missing their boot covers so another unfortunate oversight but we’ll have them all out at Legionscon next month so get ready and Let’s Get Brutal!

Where’s the Backerkit?!

We chopped off a lot of hair and think this work a lot better than the previous design!

We are holding off on the Backerkit until we have the body done for our Primal Figures aka the Brutal Beasts. Which now that we’ve finished all of our edits for the main body for, which all of our male figures come on and what we will be adding fur too for the Brutal, we can start working on. This week we’ll be posting on our social media and Facebook group the changes we’ve done to the main base body for the male heroes. We hope everyone loves the changes. We wanted to ensure the figure has better range in the waist and torso, shoulders were more aesthetically pleasing, and the chest was squared up a little bit and ever so slightly reduced. Thank you all for your patience we know everyone is excited to add to their orders but we think it’s best we wait until you have a better idea of what you’re getting. Also we are sending the files to the factory this week to start the manufacturing process! That still takes time to make sure we get everything right before starting to manufacture the figures but it’s the start of it. Let’s get Brutal!

POWER UP!!!

POWER UP!!! We’ve been talking about improving the design and mass of the shoulders and biceps for awhile. Finally did it!

This was probably our most requested change to our main hero body and we are so thankful for the support despite this lacking area. You’ll notice greater striations, detail, and mass. We also cut into where the bicep and triceps meet at the brachialis, for that more natural look then just a straight cut that we had. We are still working on a few changes more to the base body before moving on which will allow us to get production rolling while we finish accessories for other characters and entire new bodies for others. We hope to have a printed version with as many of the updated as possible for @joelantatoyshow come and check it out in person! Thank you for your patience and support as always! Let’s Get Brutal!

Brutal Beasts are coming!

We just received the conceptual art from our 2d artist for our Brutal Beast Panther figure and the final design for our Monkey King’s neutral expression from our headsculpt designer Orobus. 2 more expressions are in the works. We have our lead designer working on the Brutal Beast body, the other Brutal Beast headsculpts, and simultaneously working on Athena as well as the other female headsculpts.
