First glimpse of Athena!
5 months ago – Sun, Jan 11, 2026 at 06:17:13 PM

As we get ready to send out the backer kit we want to give all of you who have been so patient as we cross off the list of characters to design a better glimpse of what you’ll l be getting or could add to your backing order. The factory is almost finished with the molds and we’re so excited to get our first test shots which we will immediately share when we do. So we’ve paused on finishing The Great Kahn and Uruk the Sumerian, as we already have really good renders of them just not on the new body, and are focusing on the design of Athena and also better looks into the Brutal Beasts. Without further delay here those images are and bare in mind nothing is finished and still heavily in development.

Not all of her muscular detail is added, nor articulation, and we’re already working on changing some proportions like the breasts and buttock. Next week we’ll have another update showing the changes we’re implementing. Hope you like the first tease of her. What do you think so far?

We currently have one of our designers adding fur to the entirety of our base body, not just the torso like above, to give everyone a better idea of what the Brutal Beasts will look like. The caveat being that they are not the final design as we will need to make sure the engineering works where all the fur components are and that may change them slightly. Well we hope everyone is doing well in the New Year. Let’s get Brutal!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM BRUTAL REALM!
6 months ago – Thu, Jan 01, 2026 at 05:26:30 PM

Thank you for being patient with us during the month December as we took some time off from posting on social media however we are still working towards bringing this toyline to fruition. We’ve paid for more molds to be made trying to pump out figures before Chinese New Year still. Soon as we get pictures from the factory on the molds we’ll share. We are working on Athena and the rest of the females as we want you all to have a better idea of the female figures when we send out the backerkit survey. Might also have a better sneak peek of the Brutal Beast figures with the backer survey as well. Still planning on launching that this month so we can update the factory if any numbers change. Anyway here is the big reveal of the finalized version of The Owl King (missing his Owl for now we want to rework the articulation and design) we hope you’re excited for him! Hope everyone is having a great 2026 already as this is going to be the year that defines us and we’re very excited. Let’s Get Brutal!

Happy Thanksgiving!
7 months ago – Thu, Nov 27, 2025 at 04:32:10 PM

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Wanna share some updates while everyone is hopefully enjoying the day no matter what you celebrate or don’t. Thank you as always for your patience as we bring this unprecedented toyline to fruition. First off yes we are still aiming to ship Q1 and have product on display for Toylanta. We’ve heard concerns about this projected date but the factory tells us it’s still possible and we’re hopeful. We have reached out and been reached out to by other names in the toy making community and greatly appreciate their insight. We are too humble and too determined to bring these figures to you to not take any and all valid advice. We always have and always will. That being said here are images of the latest updates:

Final Owl King headsculpt design Daufuyan killed it as always with the level of detail and functionality he brings. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Harness design for Owl Kings feather overlay. We love the small touches Daufuyan added and the swap ability.

The biggest update is that we changed our hands from hinges to ball hinge joints giving more range and versatility. We always got a lot of feedback requesting this change and we decided to go with it as the factory thought it would be the best version as well. We hope you like these most recent updates and we Thank you so much on this day of thankfulness for all of your support. Let’s Get Brutal!

Legionscon/Road to Production
7 months ago – Sun, Nov 16, 2025 at 06:37:49 PM

Legionscon was our last convention of the year and our last convention we are at without figures. Toylanta we will be at in March and a lot of conventions after that for 2026 so we are pushing for the majority of figures to be manufactured throughout next year.

Our Production Manager David Vonner is literally in China right now at the factory with more Paintmasters and prototypes ensuring we get the figures right when we go into full production. Looking forward to sharing pictures with you all of the progress.

They’ve already made another EP model with another one on the way any day now. Entire arms to hands and head look slightly undersized and the joint for the legs looks slightly too long. So we look forward to the next one hopefully getting everything right.

We also gave some of the factory produced prototypes to First Strike Figs to take some photos of. Here’s a quick one he did as soon as he got home with a lot more to come. We couldn’t be more impressed already we hope you all are too. Please give him a follow!

Last but not least. Owl King is about done. Still tweaking his headsculpt slightly and the Owl needs a little more work. 2 more males to go Uruk and Khan and then the females get our full attention. Thank you all as always for your continued patience and understanding. We appreciate you more than you know. Let’s Get Brutal!

Factory EP model, Shaddar Paintmaster, and Legionscon!
8 months ago – Tue, Nov 04, 2025 at 05:22:16 PM

Below are some screen caps from the video the factory sent showing off the EP model. We’re excited for this step to make sure we fix any issues before creating the molds so we can ship for Q1 next year. Brief definition of what EP model means below:

“Engineering Pilot models, which are a final pre-production step for toy packaging design, involving a production-quality figure and packaging. Toy production in general starts with design, then prototyping, sourcing materials, manufacturing the parts (often using processes like injection molding for plastic or die casting for metal models), assembling, painting, and finally, packaging and shipping.”

Not as exciting in all white but it’s an extremely important step. Everything looks good except for getting the hinges right for the hands. Also the EP models are normally looser so don’t worry about any gaps you see the final product will be tighter.

First look at the Paintmaster for The Shaddar who will be on display at Legionscon as well as *fingers crossed * prototype Owl King. Unfortunately I (James) got sick yesterday and am hoping to be healthy by Legionscon where I will be without Jason as he expects a new baby! Looking forward to talking about the line and answering any questions (where’s Athena?!) at Legionscon for anyone that will be there. As I’ve stated before trying to update more regularly with factory updates as they come out so probably another update next week. Let’s Get Brutal!
