The Shaddar are here! The Shadow Army of General Grimskull who literally manifest from the darkness. Finally we can show all of you who supported our vision for these characters on the old old body now on our most articulated and with the detail we’ve always wanted. We hope you’re as excited as we are to get these sinister assassins. Renders of the figures in action poses are coming very soon and we had hoped to update you with them so please stay tuned to our Instagram. The first full look you all are the first to see naturally.

 Paintmasters for Chief Mato, Grimskull, and Cro Magnon have been finished and will soon be off to the factory to replicate but first you can see them at Joelanta. So please stop by and check them out!

We promise Grimskull will not be this shiny it’s just the lights and we had it painted one more time with a matte finish to be sure.

As we near the end of completion for all the males with Owl King, Uruk, and General Kahn left we are getting more conceptual art done for Athena so our designer can best translate her into figure form. We hope you love this exclusive look. We will be updating more often with smaller updates as we get news from the factory with production. They’re supposed to be sending us mold layouts next week so we’ll share that. Once we approve them the molds are next then test shots and then our first production samples. All will be shared as soon as we see them. Q1 we’re aiming to ship figures to start fulfilling orders should be the basic barbarians first: Chetan, Jagun, Krieger, and Blank bodies. The plan is to ship a large amount of characters every quarter as we can’t produce them all at once. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as always. Hope to see you all at Joelanta. 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

On August 30th we officially funded which will be soon but we wanted to thank you all for your patience and understanding through these challenging times in toy production. We’ve heels our backer kit back for one reason only and that was to show you all that we weren’t going to ask for anymore money from you until we went into production. Delivering these figures to you is the ONLY option. We won’t back out of our commitment to you and thank you ALL for not trying to do the same and getting us funded. The recent flooding in China set us back a little bit but we’re still anxious to see the molds made and share immediately with you all. Below are all updates since the last with some descriptions. 

 Grimskull, Mato, and our Convention Exclusive Cro Magnon printed on their way to be painted to then send to China to replicate in comparison to the production figures.

July Update.

The biggest news is we are really trying to deliver figures by the end of the year. We have to start off simply with the basic barbarians and will most likely do a convention elusive first to ensure we understand all costs and logistics involved to deliver. You can find a sneak peek of the Cro Magnon Convention Exclusive headsculpts below. Cro Magnon is the character before he becomes beguiled transforming him into Croman. We’re still trying to figure out the tariff situation and hang by each nervously by each development. The design for The Shaddar will be finished soon. We increased the range on the articulation for the torso and waist as a figure that can’t bend forward is always disappointing. Our figures have belts on a lot of the characters so the more range we can give them the masked the more range they will have with accessories hopefully. Once the design for The Shaddar is completed then we’ll start showing off renders to get everyone as pumped as we are. We will be doing updates more regularly to the kickstarter as we get pictures and video from the factory during the production process instead of doing monthly updates. Above images of The Shaddar’s accessories being finalized. We’re steadily working towards having all the figures ready for production so that when the situation for shipping is optimal (either China or somewhere else) we can move quickly. We are tweaking the range on the factory samples so that we can get as much as possible. Molds will soon be made for several of the characters revealed in the full rendered images if not all. Packaging is being finalized. Thank you all for your combined patience we are coming up on one year since our kickstarter launched and although we won’t be hitting our goal of shipping by then we still feel great about working to overcome all the challenges the current situation has thrown at us being an independent toy company. There is no other option than to deliver these figures to you! Thankfully we chose very well with our Production Manager David Vonner and have a few options available to us. We are moving forward with production and getting the molds made to start producing the figures this year! That of course entails the optimistic view that the tariffs will lessen considerably soon in order for us to produce them and ship them to the US where the vast majority of backers are.  Creating the figures in the US or any other country is not viable for us nor any of our backers to get the figures at the price and quality we advertised at this time. We thank you all for your understanding and patience at this time as it has thrown a wrench in our plans. However we are also planning contingencies as not delivering these figures to the people that backed us is NOT an option. Below are the newest renders for General Grimskull as his design has been finalized, newly designed sword and sheath, cape designed by Cjesim, and removable armor. These renders are more than just visual candy they are design guides for the factory so they are steps forward in production. More renders are being made but we didn’t want to get too far into May without an update. The Shaddar are coming and after that 3 more characters (Uruk, Owl King, and Khan) before we finish our totally new body for Athena and the Female Warriors. Who hopefully we will ship with the Brutal Beasts figures the beginning of next year.
